Visiting the Shaykh Zayed Masjid of Abu Dhabi was an uplifting experience, the use of modern technology in the crafting of ornaments shows how intricate and powerful modern water cutting and engraving systems can be. The wonderful use of light and chandeliers encrusted with safron and ruby was a delight, perhaps the most powerful element was the arrangement of the 99 Names of God on the Makkan wall.
